I enjoyed that the hotel was big and modern. The most important was the staff - affable and amicable people. I had extremely pleasant and great modern room here with clean towels provided, a great view and a good sized bathroom. I had brilliant food for breakfast with very tasty sausage.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with excellent coffee, sausage and hot dishes, truly enjoyed what was offered. The staff was exceptional and accommodating all the time. The hotel was pretty standard and in a central location short walk to the Eden Project and the Cornish Coast and countryside, the restaurant and public bar area where dogs are welcome and the port of Charlestown.

I booked it many times and recommend. By and large, it was incredible base for sightseeing in St Austell, had much fun and met excellent friendly staff who gave good service. The location was stunning and fantastic for traveling around St Austell, just next door to Port which faced the front of the building and overlooked the outside area as well as historic Charlestown harbour, coastal walks and bus routes into St Austell.

Had a really nice stay on our road trip, glad I've chosen it. The food was lovely and we appreciated coffee, cereals, pastries, and fruit. The hotel's location was incredible, not far from bus routes into St Austell, great pubs, and The Eden Project, Lanhydrock, The Lost Gardens of Heligon and Jamaica Inn. Also, Charlestown Harbour was 1 km away, we could even walk there.
